Qualifi Level 2 Food Hygiene

Overview

This qualification is designed to help all catering and hospitality operators establish and maintain a highly skilled, competent and effective staffing team. This includes all catering workers and professionals, including food handlers, chefs and front-of-house staff, childcare workers and professionals, including those working in nurseries, children’s centres, play centres, nannies, au pairs and as childminders. It is envisagedthat learnerswill develop an understanding of how to increase food standards and food safety through studying the food safety and hygiene certificate and HACCP Principles, allergen and nutrition training. Learners will be encouraged to understand how to increase personal safety at work through Health & Safety in the workplace and improveprofessional conduct and personal effectivenessin a wide range of settings.This Award incorporates recognised syllabus learning outcomes, guidance from the Food Standard Agency, Environmental Health Officers, and appropriate professional body. Qualifi Level 2 Food Hygiene.

Description

The Qualifications will develop the Learner’s ability to:

  • apply analytical and evaluative techniques and to enhance those skills;
  • investigate issues and opportunities;
  • develop their awareness and appreciation of managerial, organisational and environmental issues;
  • make use of relevant information from different sources;
  • develop and encourage problem solving and creativity to tackle problems and challenges;
  • exercise judgement, own and take responsibility for decisions and actions; and
  • develop the ability to recognise and reflect on personal learning and improve their personal, social
  • and other transferable skills.

Delivery Methods

London College of Professional Studies provide various flexible delivery methods to its learners which include blended learning, online learning, distance learning and in class. The learners can choose the mode of study as per their choice and convenience. Learners are able to interact with tutors and also we do provide our student LCPS online portal where student can see all the study notes, assignments briefing and online library.
