About the University

The University of Dundee is a public university founded in 1881 with a student population of circa 17,883. The university has grown to become an internationally recognised centre for research. The main campus of the university is located in Dundee’s West End which contains many of the university’s teaching and research facilities; the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Dundee Law School and the Dundee Dental Hospital and School. The university has additional facilities at Ninewells Hospital – containing its School of Medicine, Perth Royal Infirmary – which houses a clinical research centre, and in Kirkcaldy, Fife – containing part of its school of Nursing and Midwifery. It is ranked within the top 250 universities in the world and within the top 30 in the UK by national university rankings. University Location

Dundee is Scotland’s fourth largest city in the UK. With the decline of traditional industry, the city adopted a plan to renew and reinvent itself as a cultural centre. According to the unique advantage, there are two professional football clubs adjacent to each other “Dundee United and Dundee F.C” both had many opportunities to play in the Scottish championship. Therefore, Dundee is a joyful city with rich historical entertainment, and many other facilities will be available in the city and surrounding areas.
