Preparatory Course for the "Fachsprachprüfung"
Qualified medical professionals such as medical doctors, assistants and nurses are always needed in Germany.
Our German course for medical doctors aims at medical doctors from abroad who wish to work as doctors in Germany or who want to prepare for their specialist training.
The course, which follows the main points of the Language Examination for Medical Doctors, focuses on improving the communication skills. These include conducting a successful conversation between doctors and patients, exchanging information with colleagues and understanding the medical terminology. Other subjects of the course are working on the technical terminology, elaborating the medical history of a patient, reading specialist articles and simulating exam situations.
Our teachers are qualified and the courses have an interactive, practical and communicative orientation. The number of course hours is 20 per week. Students also have the possibility of taking the ‘Telc B2-C1 Medizin Fachsprachprüfung‘ exam after the course in order to obtain a certificate.
The prerequisite for taking the course is a B2 German level. In case you don’t have this required level yet, you are welcome to have a look at our intensive courses to improve your German skills.
Course duration
10 weeks (a total of 200 lessons)
Course hours: Monday to Friday (09.00 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. or 12.30 p.m. to 3.45 p.m.)
