Four-Year Engineering Degrees with ECTS Credits

Türkiye's engineering faculties are large, well-equipped and increasingly taught in English. Civil, mechanical, electrical, industrial, software and computer engineering are all widely available, along with architecture. Degrees carry ECTS credits under the Bologna Process, so they travel well for postgraduate study elsewhere in Europe.

  • Academic Qualifications: High school diploma with transcripts, with solid grades in mathematics and physics
  • Equivalency (Denklik): Certificate equivalency through the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MEB e-Denklik)
  • Entrance Exam: TR-YÖS or a university-specific entrance exam may be required
  • Language Proficiency: IELTS/TOEFL or the university's own English exam for English-taught programmes
  • Documents: Valid passport, photographs, and translated and attested academic documents
